For Play ("we", "us", or "our") operates the For Play mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash), and a display name you choose.
• Content you create: the activities you host, your participation in activities, and the messages you send in activity chats.
• Approximate location (optional): if you choose to attach a location to an activity, we store the coordinates you provide so others can find it.
• Technical data: basic information needed to operate the service, such as authentication tokens.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To show activities, memberships, and chat messages to the appropriate users.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
• To enforce our Terms of Use and keep the community safe, including reviewing reports of objectionable content.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Content you post (such as your display name, activities you host, and chat messages) is visible to other users of the relevant activity. We share data with service providers who host and run the App on our behalf (for example, our cloud hosting and database providers), solely to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time directly in the App (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, the activities you host, and your messages from our active systems.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your display name in the App, block other users, and delete your account. To make any other request regarding your data, contact us at the address below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
